Guacamole

Dish story

Guacamole is one of Mexico's oldest dishes. Its origins date back to the Aztec Empire, where avocados were highly valued for their nutritional and cultural importance. The name comes from the Nahuatl word ahuacamolli, which literally means "avocado sauce". Over the centuries, this simple combination of fresh avocado and vegetables has become one of the most recognizable symbols of Mexican cuisine worldwide.

While countless variations exist, the secret of great guacamole has always remained the same: fresh ingredients, respect for the product and preparation made to order.

Cutzamala version

Since 2014, our signature dish. Carefully selected avocados, fresh tomatoes, onions and cilantro sourced daily from Mercado Antón Martín, combined in our famous secret recipe and prepared fresh for every order. Served with our crispy homemade corn tortilla chips, crafted by hand in our kitchen.

More than ten years later, it remains the most requested dish at Cutzamala.
